APRIL 26 TO 28, 2019

From April 26 - 28, 2019, Peace Point Meditation held its Spring Weekend Meditation Retreat. With a mix of meditators ranging from first time practitioners to life long enthusiasts, meditation sessions were held at least three times a day with guidance from teaching monks. As meditation can be practiced at anytime or while doing any task, participants also practiced walking meditation and introduced “working meditation” so meditators can become accustomed to keeping the mind at the center while conducting everyday tasks, such as sweeping and gardening.


Stress is a part of daily life, but meditation can be incorporated into our routines for our personal benefit to keep these stressors in check. It helps to get away for a weekend to devote yourself to self-care, but remember, meditation can be done anytime anywhere. Welcome your mind to the inner peace within!
