FULL MOON MEDITATION

FIRST FULL MOON MEDITATION

SEPTEMBER 24, 2018

On September 24, 2018, Peace Point Meditation hosted its first Full Moon Meditation, a special outdoor meditation event takes place under the shine of the full moonlight. Buddhism considers the full moon to be of special significance. The historic Buddha was believed to have been born, attained enlightenment, and passed away on full moon days. Over 100 people attended Peace Point Meditation's first Full Moon Meditation, located at the Dhammakaya International Meditation Center, to meditate under the September Harvest moon.

The event will be recurring monthly, taking place every full moon and is open to everyone who would like to experience becoming one with nature and meditating under the moonlight.

Due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, all public events are suspended until further notice. Live online meditation sessions are available on YouTube and Facebook. Click here for schedule of live sessions. Be safe and stay mindful!
